One very-important caveat to understand upfront: I don’t want to teach you Buddhism, and I do not claim to be an authority on Buddhism; what I am doing here is more about articulating my own understanding, as a process of writing- and learning-in-public. In the spirit of Montaigne: I am trying out ideas that have been beneficial to me, most of which happen to be Buddhist ideas. If you happen to gain some understanding from that then honestly, that is secondary.
I am including updates to ‘epistemic status’ as much as possible, to be clear on what I understand to be the truth, but everything here is provisional, until it isn’t.
